I started this book yesterday afternoon and will finish it later today. I havent been drawn in to a book like this for what seems like ages. It really has made me think a lot about WW11, i must have slept through most of modern history at school because i dont remember learning all that much.
On the front cover it says " When was the last time you read a book that made you feel really good?" It is so true, i highly reccommend this lovely lovely book.

I loved this book and it's easy style. I felt like I wanted to move to Guernsey by the time I finished it, which like you, did not take me long to do :)
