My oath to you….. When you are sad…… I will dry your tears When you are scared…I will comfort your fears When you are worried…I will give you hope When you are confused…I will help you cope And when you are lost, and can’t see the light I shall be your beacon, shining ever so bright This is my oath, I pledge to the end.

I was informed By Lil that Kandi needed a quilt ..... of course she does she is a very important member of our family .Kandi came to live here on Lilys birthday in November 2010 and is very very loved and pampered over:) I used some of my "Bliss" candy bar and white muslin for the top and some Bliss yardage for the backing and binding.
Noahs quilt is finished and on his bed and he is now a very happy little boy . This quilt is from Anni Downs book "A Boys Story" its such a simple design but i think its lovely.
The stars are wool and appliqued on using a wool thread.
The weather here is very Autumny and perfect for a lovely sleep under a new quilt.
This picture came today in an email titled "Who said Photography isn't art" and i had to share it..... I hope that it is me a Nana in many years to come and it also reminds of great times spent with my nan watching her craft. She is a very accomplished crafter who has dabbles in many different crafts... All of which she excelled at :)
